We are looking for an interface designer who lives, breathes and eats design both in and out of work. We want someone who is already a heavy web user and therefore well aware of the latest UI trends.
The emphasis here is user interface and an understanding of web technologies. We don't expect you to be able to produce your designs but any HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax or Flash experience would be an advantage.
We're looking for a self starter, happy to work under your own initiative and willing to contribute new ideas but also happy to follow a brief. We are a small team open to new ideas and like to work with people with opinions.
Experience and qualification
We're expecting you to have at least some formal graphic design training and experience of designing for the web. We're willing to hear from new graduates but you'll need to be exceptional if you have no experience.
Salary
Your salary will be based on experience.
The details
You'll be based at our office in Leeds. This is a full time, permanent position with a 3 month probationary period.
