Wednesday 4th December sees the second Leeds Girl Geek dinner to be held at the newly open The Loft Leeds. The first dinner was in August and was hugely successful, unfortunately I couldn't make it but there were lots of people there who I would have loved to have met.

This time I'm lucky enough to be speaking too, Linda Broughton at nti very kindly asked me and I'm looking forward to the opportunity.

The event is open to girls and boys (although boys you'll need to have been invited), but if you'd like to go and don't know any girls then drop me a line and I'll invite you along. It's from 6-9pm and tickets are £15 per person.

Next week is the inaugural Leeds Digital Week. It is a week of briefings, discussions and presentations and at the end of the week are The Drum Awards for the Digital Industries (DADIs).

It's going to a week jam packed with some great events and opportunities. We've got ourselves booked onto several events and you can come and meet with us at "In the driving seat: meet the technology experts" at The Round Foundry Media Centre 12-2pm on Wednesday (26th November 2008). There'll be a number of digital media agencies from The Round Foundry there, all happy to have a chat.
